Frost Countries is an educational service with interactive maps, quizzes, accounts, personal statistics, and leaderboards. This policy explains what data we process, why we process it, and what rights you may have.
When you register, we process the information you provide: email address, nickname, nationality, and password. Passwords are not stored in plain text; only a cryptographic hash is stored on the server.
During gameplay, we may store the selected region, correct and incorrect answers, completion time, best result, and game timestamps.
Our server, hosting, and security providers may automatically process IP address, browser and device type, language, request logs, and error information. If you contact support, we process your email address and message content.
Authentication uses a necessary cookie containing a JWT. It is set by the server as httpOnly, so page JavaScript cannot read it, and the browser sends it automatically with API requests. The cookie is removed on logout or expiry.
We may use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand traffic, performance, and use of site modes. These services may process technical identifiers and device data under their own policies. Optional analytics should be enabled only where an appropriate legal basis and, when required, user consent are in place.
For privacy and personal-data questions, contact us.

We use reasonable safeguards, including password hashing, httpOnly cookies, JWT validation, access controls, and server-side validation. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
The site may link to third-party resources or use third-party infrastructure. Their data processing is governed by their own policies, and we do not control their content or practices.
The service is designed for geography learning and may be used by children under parental or guardian supervision. We do not knowingly seek to collect data from children below the age at which they may independently consent under applicable law. If you believe a child provided data without required permission, contact support@frostlegion.com.
We may update this policy when features, technologies, or legal requirements change. The current version is published on this page with a revised update date.
If translations differ, the English version prevails.
